Dr. Kuzma's passion for dentistry is evident from the moment you step into his office. He has built a reputation as one of the leading cosmetic dentists in Wilmington, NC. He is known for his attention to detail, clinical excellence, compassion for his patients and his easy-going nature. In addition, he speaks to local dental and medical professionals to share his knowledge about new advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Kuzma has been proud to serve the Wilmington, NC community since 1996. He has donated many hours to serving the community. He participates in Mission of Mercy Dental Clinics with other local dentists, providing free dental care to those in need. He also hosts Dentistry from the Heart Days within his office where he and his team provide more advanced care to those in need referred by his patients and team. He has mentored several students pursuing careers in dentistry and cooperates with local dental training programs to allow students to complete their hands-on training within his office.
BACKGROUND:
Dr. Kuzma has obtained extensive, advanced post-graduate training in cosmetic dentistry, neuromuscular (TMJ) dentistry, implant dentistry and sleep apnea treatment from the renowned LVI Global Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), the world's premier post-graduate dental teaching center. Graduates of LVI are amongst the finest, most progressive dentists in the world. In addition, Dr. Kuzma has been honored as a Fellow of the LVI Global Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
Dr. Kuzma has also been honored with a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), another award earned by extensive continued eduation in dentistry. He is constantly seeking to further his studies to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry.
Dr. Kuzma received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Lafayette College in Easton, PA. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Upon graduation, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in the US Army. He then practiced as a General Dentistry Officer at Fort Bragg, NC for three years.
Dr. Kuzma has lived in Wilmington, NC, since 1996 with his wife and three children. Dr. Kuzma enjoys spending time with his family and participating in church youth activities. His hobbies include surfing, boating, fishing and biking.
