Dr. Kuzma’s journey into dentistry is deeply intertwined with her upbringing and education in North Carolina. Growing up in Pender County, she moved to Wilmington to attend college at UNCW, where she pursued studies in both business and science. While working at our Wilmington, NC dental practice in the front office, she discovered her passion for dentistry.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. Kuzma continued her education at ECU SoDM, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. Throughout her time at ECU, she gained valuable experience by working in dental practices across the state, including locations in Lillington, Bolivia, and Spruce Pine.
In addition to her professional life, Dr. Kuzma married into the Kuzma family in 2013, becoming part of a family that shares her passion for dentistry. Her husband, Caden, is Dr. Michael Kuzma’s oldest son. Outside of work, they cherish their free time by enjoying activities such as visiting the beach, exploring local restaurants and coffee shops, and spending quality time with their family.
Dr. Kuzma’s approach to dentistry is marked by compassion, with a strong focus on patient education, comfort and providing high-quality care. This commitment is a testament to her dedication to the profession as well as her patients’ well-being.
